PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame multiplexing method by which a plurality of frames are efficiently multiplexed.SOLUTION: When multiplexing a first frame including a synchronous pattern MA and a second frame including a synchronous pattern MB that is the same pattern as the synchronous pattern MA, an array within the synchronous pattern MB is switched so as not to be recognized as a synchronous pattern, and a multi-frame cycle of columns in the first frame and a multi-frame cycle of columns in the second frame are made asynchronous.
