PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation wire excellent in heat release property via a member for heat release.SOLUTION: An insulation wire according to an aspect of the invention has a linear conductor and a fusion layer coating an outer peripheral surface of the conductor and the fusion layer has a high thermal conductive filler having an insulation property and a binder of the high thermal conductive filler. A main component of the binder of the fusion layer is preferably a phenoxy resin or an epoxy resin. The high thermal conductive filler is preferably a scale filler mainly containing boron nitride. An average thickness of the fusion layer is preferably 5 μm to 500 μm. There preferably is further an insulation layer laminated on the outer peripheral surface side of the conductor between the conductor and the fusion layer. A manufacturing method of the insulation wire according to an aspect of the invention includes a process for obtaining a thermal fusion composition containing the thermal fusion resin and the high thermal conductive filler having an insulation property and a process for coating the outer peripheral surface side of the conductor with the thermal fusion composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
