PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact packaging device which has very excellent workability and can be used even in a shop of a small scale.SOLUTION: A packaging device is equipped with: a housing 10 which is provided with an opening 10a on a top face thereof; a descent table 20 which is smaller than a sheet-like packaging material A and is provided in the opening, on which the sheet-like packaging material A is loaded, and by which a package descends until the package is embedded in the opening in the state that the package is loaded on the packaging material; and overlapping parts 31, 33. After the descent table descends whereby at least two ends of the packaging material protruded from the descent table are brought into contact with a marginal part of the opening and are bent upwards, the overlapping parts overlap the ends in such a manner that the overlapping parts move towards the bent ends in the opening, thereby covering a top face of the package.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
