PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device design method which inhibits an increase in a region size and a cost increase and an increase in power supply wiring resistance.SOLUTION: In a semiconductor device design method information of a cell stored in a storage part includes current consumption information of the cell. The semiconductor device design method comprises the steps of: automatically arranging the cells after creating a power supply network; and automatically wiring power supply wiring for reinforcement depending on density of an arrangement of the cells which consume a relatively large amount of current from the current consumption information of the cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
