PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent server for presenting a user an adequate message.SOLUTION: A server includes: a weather information acquisition section 41 which acquires weather information; an appliance information acquisition section 42 which acquires appliance information regarding a household appliance 52; and a message creation section 43 which performs at least any one of preparation of a message using the weather information and external device information, transmission to the household appliance 52, and posting to a portable information terminal on the household appliance 52 as a main constituent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
