PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a bicycle sharing system capable of managing renting out and returning of more bicycles at a low cost facility without using a bicycle parking stand.SOLUTION: While bicycles for rent 4 are stored in bicycle parking areas 9 near stations or a bus stops, ticket examination devices 10 for renting and returning of keys 6 are also installed and the ticket examination devices 10 in a plurality areas are collectively managed by a managing computer 23. The ticket examination devices 10 include: key storage boxes 15 provided with lock members locking key holders 7; first readers for reading user identification information from IC cards 2 of users U; second readers for reading bicycle identification information from radio IC tags 5 of the bicycles 4; third readers 14 for reading key identification information from non-contact tags 8 of the key holders 7; and a control unit for controlling the lock member based on the user identification information, the bicycle identification information and the key identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
