PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily restore an image forming device to a normally operating state.SOLUTION: A restoration support terminal communicates with a backup device that backs up, via a network, device setting information on an image forming device, via a public telephone network and the network, notifies the backup device of restoration object device setting information, and instructs the backup device to execute restoration. The backup device restores the restoration object device setting information in the image forming device. Thus, the backup device can restore the device setting information in the image forming device without a maintenance worker of the image forming device operating a personal computer of a user, and can easily restore the image forming device to a normally operating state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
