PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of discharging water at a comfortable temperature and reducing stress imparted to a user, and a water discharge system using the water heater.SOLUTION: A discharge system includes a faucet discharging water, a human body detection sensor 16 detecting presence/absence of a human body, and a water heater 10 supplying water to the faucet according to output of a detection unit. The water heater 10 includes a heating unit 40 heating water to be supplied to the faucet, a solenoid 32 opening/closing a water discharge passage 52, and a control unit 50 controlling the heating unit 40 and the solenoid 32. The control unit 50, when making the solenoid 32 into a closed state according to the output from the detection unit, after instructing the solenoid 32 to perform closing operation, causes the heating unit 40 to continue heating until a predetermined stop condition is satisfied, and then stops heating of the heating unit 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
