PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink which suppresses bronze and beading, and can record an image excellent in glossiness.SOLUTION: An ink contains a pigment, an urethane resin, a surfactant, and organic amine. The urethane resin contains a structure represented by general formula (1) (-O-(CH-O)-), and has an acid value of 40 mgKOH/g or more and 90 mgKOH/g or less. The surfactant is polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having an HLB value according to Griffin method of 13.0 or more and 18.5 or less.
