PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator safety apparatus which allows a maintenance people to easily recognize that, he/she is at or near a position through which a balance weight passes.SOLUTION: A safety apparatus 14 comprises: a long body 15; a winding device 16; first fixing means; and second fixing means. The winding device 16 winds the long body 15. The first fixing means fixes the winding devices 16 to one of a fixed body of a hoistway 3 and a balance weight 4. The second fixing means is provided on a tip of the long body 15. The second fixing means fixes the tip of the long body 15 to the other of the fixed body and the balance weight 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
