PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variation value prediction system, an inventory control system, a variation value prediction method, and a program capable of selecting an ARIMA prediction model enabling optimal inventory control.SOLUTION: The variation value prediction system includes first prediction means for calculating a first prediction value using an ARIMA model from a plurality of ARIMA models determined by using time-sequential data stored in a predetermined storage area by a variation value prediction part, index value calculation means for calculating a first index value and a second index value for each ARIMA model by using the first prediction value calculated by the first prediction means, model selection means for selecting one ARIMA model from the plurality of ARIMA models based on the first index value and the second index value calculated by the index value calculation means, and second prediction means for calculating a second prediction value which is a future prediction value of the time-sequential data by the variation value prediction part by using the one ARIMA model selected by the model selection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
