INSULATION RECOVERY METHOD OF INSULATION MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insulation recover insulation properties of an insulator reduced with long term deterioration in short time.SOLUTION: At least one of surface insulation resistance (st2) of an insulator (st1) used in electric power equipment used for predetermined term and surface roughness (st3) is measured and high pressure air is sprayed to a surface of the insulator (st4), then insulation varnish is applied (st5) and is dried for predetermined time (st6) if at least one of the surface insulation resistance ad surface roughness is deviated from a control value. The high pressure air has pressure of 0.4 to 0.5 MPa and can remove an insulation deterioration part having weak adhesive force and recover water repellency or glossiness in short time by application of insulation varnish.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
