PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor capable of suppressing the occurrence of measurement errors in the temperature of measurement target gas as much as possible.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 1 comprises: a temperature-sensitive element 2; a metal tube 3 constituted by a small diameter section 31 and a large diameter section 32; a filler 4; and a housing 5. The filler 4 is continuously filled in the entire small diameter section 31 and in a portion of the large diameter section 32. In a cross-section orthogonal to the formation direction of a pipe 6, a tip end 311 of the small diameter section 31 is disposed farther than a virtual line M that passes through a center O of a maximum virtual circle C0 and that is orthogonal to a central axis L of the metal tube 3, when viewed from the large diameter section 32. The temperature sensor 1 is used in a state in which the entire small diameter section 31 and the portion of the large diameter section 32 filled with the filler 4 are disposed within a central virtual circle C1 concentric with the maximum virtual circle C0 and having an inside diameter of 2/3E if it is assumed that an inside diameter of the maximum virtual circle C0 is E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
