PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent body which is soft, is hard to make a crease, and hardly loses the shape.SOLUTION: An absorbent body 3 for an absorbent article 1 having a longitudinal direction and a width direction comprises an absorbent core 5 having a first surface 9 and a second surface 10 on the opposite side from the first surface 9. The absorbent core 5 includes thermoplastic resin fiber 6, cellulose water-absorbing fiber 7 and a high absorbent polymer 8. At least a portion of the thermoplastic resin fiber 6 has a first portion 6a exposed to the first surface 9 of the absorbent core 5, a second portion 6b exposed to the second surface 10 of the absorbent core 5, and a connecting portion 6c connecting the first portion 6a and the second portion 6b. The recovery ratio of the absorbent body 3 after being bent is 85% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
