PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading apparatus capable of implementing smooth conveyance without speed fluctuation in a configuration for reading a script in the middle of an inclined conveyance path.SOLUTION: A recessed shape 520 is provided for disposing a white reference plate 510 between a first supporting part P1 for supporting a script S at the upstream side of a reading area and a second supporting part P2 for supporting the script S at the downstream side of the reading area. In the recessed shape 520, an inclined part 501b is formed for supporting a front end of the script S being conveyed to the second supporting part P2 while abutting the front end at an angle that is inclined in a direction of abutment of the front end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
