PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing cartridge that can move a shutter from a state of partitioning a developing chamber and a developer storage chamber to a state of communicating the developing chamber and the developer storage chamber, and can suppress damage to an agitator.SOLUTION: A developing cartridge 1 includes: a developing roller 3; a housing 2 that has a developing chamber 40 and a toner storage chamber 41; an agitator 5; a shutter 30 that partitions the developing chamber 40 and the toner storage chamber 41; a developing coupling 63 that receives a driving force from a printer 10; agitator gears 67 that are respectively fixed to the ends of an agitator shaft 55; and shutter driving gears 69 that each rotate from a first position to a second position and have an engaging portion 91 engaging with the shutter 30 at the second position. The shutter 30 is moved from a closed position to partition the developing chamber 40 and the toner storage chamber 41 to an open position to engage with the engaging portion 91 to communicate the developing chamber 40 and the toner storage chamber 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
