PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for preventing a media such as a limited express ticket and a card from getting wet, even when an automatic ticket issuing machine is installed outdoors, such as on a platform of a station.SOLUTION: An automatic ticket issuing machine includes a cabinet, an opening formed in the front of the cabinet, and a medium handling port placed at the bottom side of the opening and performing insertion and/or ejection of the medium.
