PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visualize an abnormal place or the like of an object by utilizing terahertz waves.SOLUTION: A marking device includes: irradiation means (110) for irradiating an object (500) with terahertz waves; detection means (150) for detecting the intensity of the terahertz waves which are reflected by the object or transmit through the object; and specification means (250) for specifying portions (M) which should be marked in the object or a surface member covering the object on the basis of the intensity of the terahertz waves detected by the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
