PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld joint which can be welded while energy during welding is suppressed to as low as possible when a cylindrical crimping part is formed from a metal plate material, in particular the metal plate material having thick thickness, and to provide a terminal with the weld joint, a method of manufacturing the weld joint, and a method of manufacturing a terminal.SOLUTION: There is provided a weld joint 21 formed in a cylindrical crimping part of a terminal crimped with an electric wire. The weld join includes: a groove part 22 which is provided in the cylindrical crimping part 20 and formed from one end over the other end along a longitudinal direction; and a weld part 23 which is formed in the groove part 22 and extends along the longitudinal direction of the groove part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
