PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal management system which updates firmware more effectively, a terminal device, a management device, a terminal management method and a program.SOLUTION: In a terminal management system 1, a terminal device 10, a management device 20, and a server device 30 communicate with one another. One or more terminal devices transmit, to the management device, terminal information including versions of firmware held by the terminal devices and identification information for identifying the terminal devices. The management device stores terminal information on one or more terminal devices and, when a terminal device requests to acquire terminal information on other terminal devices, transmits one or more pieces of terminal information as a response. The terminal device refers to versions of firmware held by the other terminal devices included in one or more pieces of terminal information and selects another terminal device holding the latest version. Then, the terminal device acquires firmware update data from the selected terminal device and updates firmware of the device itself.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
