PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral control processing device that secures the temporal effectiveness of a log without increasing cost and prevents undesired log information remaining at a lower-level device side from being omitted from clearing.SOLUTION: A peripheral control processing device includes: a base counter storage unit for managing a reference time announced by an upper-level device; a relative counter control unit for managing a relative time from the start of the peripheral control processing device; an interface control unit for controlling communication with a peripheral device; a log editing unit for collecting fault information on the peripheral control processing device and editing a log when a fault occurs in the device; and a log management unit that, on receiving the log from the log editing unit, calculates current time from the reference time and the relative time and adds it as log editing time information to the log, and that, on receiving a log on the device from the peripheral device via the interface control unit, calculates current time, compares the current time with the log editing time information added to the log, and determines whether the log is valid or not on the basis of a preset condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
