PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly provide a front plate for a display device that has excellent antireflection characteristics, and a manufacturing method of a front plate for a display device that can suppress damage to an antireflection layer and a decorative layer.SOLUTION: There is provided a front plate for a display device that includes: a reinforced glass substrate; a decorative layer that is formed on one face of the reinforced glass substrate in a pattern shape and contains an organic material; a protective layer that is formed only on the decorative layer; and an antireflection layer that is formed directly on the other face of the reinforced glass substrate, has one or more organic layers, and comprises only the organic layers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
