PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which inhibits influences of back flow of a fluid from a pump to a cap.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device includes: a cap capable of sealing a discharge port surface on which a discharge port of an ink jet recording head is formed; and a tube pump which is connected with the cap and generates a negative pressure in an interior part of the cap. The ink jet recording device includes a cushioning member provided between the cap and the tube pump and having a volumetric capacity that enables a fluid flowing from the tube pump to the cap to be stored therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
