The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device which can prevent static electricity from occurring during a manufacturing process. For this purpose, provided is a liquid crystal display device comprising: a first substrate which has a display unit region and a pad unit region; ground electrodes and power wirings which are spaced apart at predetermined intervals and are individually formed on the first substrate; a gate insulation layer and a protective layer which are formed on upper parts of the ground electrodes and the power wirings, and have ground contact holes partially exposing the ground electrodes; a first transparent electrode which is formed on an upper part of the protective layer and the pad unit region, and is connected with the ground electrodes via the ground contact holes; a second substrate which faces the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer which is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a second transparent electrode which is formed on a surface of the second substrate, which does not face the first substrate. The first and second transparent electrodes are connected to each other by a conductive pattern. |
