The circuit has a reading module (2) e.g. capacitive transimpedance amplifier or buffered direct injection module, for applying a reference voltage (V-REF) on an input terminal. A photodiode (1) e.g. P/N type photodiode, is coupled to the input terminal of the reading module, so as to be biased. The photodiode and the input terminal of the reading module are coupled by an asymmetric transistor (4) e.g. P-type MOS transistor, arranged to operate as a closed switch when the reading module biases the photodiode in a predefined range and to operate as an open switch in other cases. An independent claim is also included for a detection matrix comprising a set of detection circuits. |
