The present invention discloses a method for evaluating a voice recognition performance and an apparatus thereof. The apparatus for evaluating a voice recognition performance: outputs a voice sound source and a noise sound source in series; calculates a signal-to-noise ratio of the voice sound source and the noise sound source that a voice recognition apparatus receives through a mike; adjusts the volume of the voice sound source or the noise sound source for the calculated signal-to-noise ratio to be a reference value; and evaluates a voice recognition performance. According to the present invention, the method and apparatus can automatically evaluate the voice recognition performance while guaranteeing reliability and objectivity of the voice recognition performance of the voice recognition apparatus. |
