The present invention relates to a suede-type artificial leather with excellent rubbing fastness and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein a liquid silicone rubber elastomer is impregnated into a non-woven fabric consisting of fine fibers such that 10-30 wt% of the elastomer is contained in the artificial leather. According to the present invention, the liquid silicone rubber is applied to a polymer elastomer so as to have the same appearance and tactile sensation as an artificial leather of a polyurethane elastomer, and the usage of an organic solvent is reduced so as to obtain an artificial leather which is eco-friendly and has improved rubbing fastness, thereby the artificial leather is capable of being easily used in a product which requires excellent surface quality.
