The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for suggesting a correct estimated price of a used car in a way quantized with a regression analysis. The method comprises the steps of: receiving used car sales data including a selling price of the used car and a value of a continuous variable corresponding to the selling price; performing a linear conversion of the continuous variable; receiving information regarding the used car to be evaluated; calculating an estimated price of the used car by using a result of the regression analysis and the information regarding the used car to be evaluated; converting the data for the used car to be evaluated and used car sales data into coordinates of a multidimensional space; searching a car similar to the used car to be evaluated; and calculating an indirect estimated price of the used car using a relative distance of the used car sales data in the multidimensional space. |
