A two-speed transmission for an electric vehicle is disclosed. The two-speed transmission comprises: a first input shaft connected to a power source to receive power; a second input shaft disposed in a different route from the first input shaft to receive the power from the power source; a first clutch unit selectively connected to the first input shaft or the second input shaft to transmit the power transmitted from the power source to the first input shaft or the second input shaft; an output shaft which is provided to connect the first input shaft and the second input shaft to receive the power of the power source to be rotated; and a second clutch unit provided to the output shaft, rotates with the output shaft together when the power of the power source is transmitted through the first input shaft, and idles when the power of the power source is transmitted through the second input shaft. |
