Disclosed is a scheduling device which allocates tasks to a plurality of processing units. The scheduling device allocates tasks for the respective processing units supporting a sleep mode during a first scheduling period of a predetermined length. When a first task allocated to one among the processing units having the tasks allocated thereto, the scheduling device compares a first period from the task completion point to the completion point of the first scheduling period and a second period of the processing units being switched to an active mode from the sleep mode, to allocate a second task, which is planned to be executed in a second scheduling period after the first scheduling period, according to the result.
