The rim (1) has a braking zone (2) that is primarily made of composite material, where the braking zone is designed to receive a braking body. The braking zone is arranged with a macroscopic structure (6) on its surface. The macroscopic structure is conditioned so as to interrupt and/or to evacuate a water film in the braking zone. The macroscopic structure is realized in only one of composite matrix material. The macroscopic structure is arranged with a set of cavities (11) that is engraved with laser. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rim. |
