PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a steel breaker coating of tires for trucks and buses, in which high mileage property of a rubber composition containing isoprene rubber is further improved and good durability and adhesiveness to a steel cord also can be obtained, and tires for trucks and buses having a steel breaker coated member manufactured by using the above rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for steel breaker coating of tires for trucks and buses comprises a rubber component, carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 20 to 130 m/g, an organic acid cobalt, a specific compound, and oil. In 100 mass% of the rubber component, the content of isoprene rubber is 60 to 100 mass%. With respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, the content of the carbon black is 15 to 100 parts by mass; the content of the oil is 2 parts by mass or higher; and the content of the organic acid cobalt, in terms of cobalt, is 0.05 to 1.00 parts by mass. With respect to 100 parts by mass of the carbon black, the content of the specific compound is 0.1 to 20 parts by mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
