PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental blank material for machining having excellent machinability, metal powder for powder metallurgy capable of producing the blank material for machining, a dental metal frame for porcelain baking excellent in the adhesion of a porcelain, and a dental prosthesis high in reliability.SOLUTION: Provided is a dental blank material 1 for machining being a workpiece fed to a dental CAD/CAM system and grinding a metal frame with a shape suitable for an affected part by machining, comprising Co as the main component, Cr in the ratio of 26 to 35 mass%, Mo in the ratio of 5 to 12 mass% and Si in the ratio of 0.5 to 1.0 mass% and being composed of a sintered compact of metal powder. Further, a part of the Si is included as silicon oxide, and the ratio of the Si included as the silicon oxide in the Si is preferably 10 to 90 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
