摘要 Disclosed is a system including a reader device configured to actuate a lock when presented with a registered user credential and a server that transmits an encapsulated virtual credential in a package to the mobile device wherein the virtual credential is of a particular form with at least two different formats. The at least two different formats include prox, MIFARE classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1, optical bar code and QR code and at least one of the formats includes either MIFARE classic or MIFARE DESFire EV1. An administrative mobile device with a credential administration application receives the virtual credential including a master credential and a plurality of user credentials for other users and wirelessly transmit the master credential to the reader device to place the reader device in a programming mode. The master credential is an administrative credential and the programming mode includes a construction mode that allows the plurality of user credentials to be stored in the reader device for future use. The administrative mobile device wirelessly transmits the plurality of user credentials to the reader device when the reader device is in the programming mode to register the plurality of user credentials in the reader device. The master credential is emulated on the administrative mobile device before each of an associated one of the plurality of user credentials is emulated on the administrative mobile device to register the each of the associated ones of the plurality of user credentials for the other users in the reader device.
