A retrofitted wind turbine installation comprising a newly constructed tower assembly and elements demounted from an existing wind turbine installation is disclosed. Furthermore, a method for retrofitting of an existing wind turbine installation comprising the steps of providing a new tower assembly, demounting one or more elements from an existing wind turbine installation, mounting the one or more elements from the existing wind turbine installation on the new tower assembly is disclosed as well. |
