An opto-electric hybrid board 10 is provided with an electric circuit board E that has electric wires 2 formed on a surface of an insulating layer 1, and an optical waveguide W that is formed on the reverse side of the electric circuit board E, wherein either both side surfaces of the electric circuit board E, which are along the direction in which the optical waveguide W extends, overlap with both side surfaces of the optical waveguide W when viewed from above, or both side surfaces of the electric circuit board E are positioned so as to be further inwards than the location of both side surfaces of the optical waveguide W. The opto-electric hybrid board 10 is easy to handle since the electric circuit board E part is hard to damage. Also, when the opto-electric hybrid board 10 is used as a connector, there is no position displacement of cores 7. |
