The present invention relates to a water treatment apparatus which can increase zeta potential by generating negative charges (-) and prevents scale by increasing repulsive forces among particles, and to a method thereof. More particularly, in the present invention, increased number of negative charges (-) destroys the external charge layer of various algae and bacteria existing in water and kills the algae and bacteria, and the wastewater treatment apparatus increases zeta potential and repulsive forces among particles by attaching negative charges to the zeta potential layers of inorganic ions which causes scale. Further, the apparatus of the present invention connects a positive side of a power supply to an electronic pole arranged at the middle of a pipe and a negative side of the power supply to the pipe so as to have all of the water of a coolant pass through an electric field. In addition, the water treatment apparatus has a power supply device installed, which generates an electric field by applying a direct-current power having a particular voltage, and prevents scale and slime by generating repulsive forces between inorganic particles and the pipe. |
