The present invention relates to a messenger service system having a function to automatically delete a chat room, comprising at least two clients using a messenger service; and a service server allowing the at least two clients to access and providing a messenger service between the at least two clients. The service server comprises a room opening module for opening a chat room allowing the at least two clients to exchange messages in real time; and a room management module automatically deleting the chat room opened by the room opening module when a predetermined condition is met. According to the messenger service system having a function to automatically delete a chat room, the service server opens a chat room and provides a messenger service, and when a predetermined condition is met, the service server automatically deletes the chat room, and thus, a user can leave the chat room without a psychological burden of directly deleting the chat room, and can easily leave a large number of chat rooms. Also, according to the present invention, a chat room may be deleted from the service server, securing storage capacity of the service server. Also, since conversation does not remain in the service server, privacy can be protected. Also, since there is no need to store conversation in a client device or load conversion to the client device, the efficiency of the client device can be enhanced. |
