PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate angle adjustment of an imaging element.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element; a focus detection unit which outputs a focus detection signal; and a posture adjustment unit which adjusts posture of the imaging element on the basis of the focus detection signal of the focus detection unit. In the imaging apparatus, the focus detection unit may be composed of at least a part of pixels of the imaging element. In the imaging element, at least a part of the pixels may be phase difference detection pixels for detecting phase difference of a subject image. The posture adjustment unit may include a stepping motor which varies the posture of the imaging element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
