PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent base material with an antiglare antireflection film that is excellent in both antiglare and antireflection properties, and an article prepared therewith.SOLUTION: A transparent base material with an antiglare antireflection film 10 comprises a transparent base material 12, and an antiglare antireflection film 18. The antiglare antireflection film 18 comprises a low reflective film 14 formed on the transparent base material 12, and an antiglare film 16 formed on the low reflective film 14. The low reflective film 14 has a refractive index of 1.24-1.35 and a thickness of 20-140 nm. The antiglare film 16 has a refractive index of 1.40-1.50 and the antiglare film 16 has the surface with its arithmetic mean roughness Ra of 0.04-0.14 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
