The present invention relates to a vehicle control apparatus and a control method thereof. The apparatus comprises: a display unit which is formed in a vehicle and displays image information; a communications unit performing wireless communications with a preset mobile terminal; a sensing unit which senses at least one among condition of the mobile terminal, an internal environment of the vehicle, and input of a user; and a controller which displays information related to an event when the event occurs in the mobile terminal, wherein the controller limits at least a portion of information related to the event in accordance with a predetermined display limit based on a sensing result of the sensing unit. |
