PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of an aqueous solution of a cationic polymer capable of reducing simply and stably to a ppm level, each metal ion concentration contained in the aqueous solution of the cationic polymer.SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of a cationic polymer is processed by being supplied to an ion exchange method using a mixed resin having a specific ratio of an MR type cation exchange resin and an MR type anion exchange resin, and a mixed resin having a specific ratio of a gel type cation exchange resin and a gel type anion exchange resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
