Provided are a switch, a controller, a system and a link quality detection method, which belong to the technical field of networks. In the present invention, a controller determines a detection path, and controls each switch of the detection path to acquire a detection message, and each switch is enabled to add OAM information into the detection message succeeding in matching according to a flow table entry pre-stored by the switch after the switch determines that the acquired detection message is matched with the pre-stored flow table entry; and the controller acquires a final detection message obtained after the OAM information is added by each switch, and determines the link quality according to the final detection message. Since each switch of the detection path can detect the link quality without using a corresponding link quality detection protocol and only needs to add the OAM information into the acquired detection message according to the pre-stored flow table entry, not only the structure of each switch can be simplified, but also the operation of each switch is simplified. In addition, the controller does not need to interact with each switch, so that the service processing efficiency can be improved. |
