The seal (1) has a sealing profile (2) made of an elastomer and including a rear side (3) facing a sealing surface of a sanitary part in an operating condition. An adhesive layer (4) made of UV-hardenable acrylic resin is applied on the rear side. The adhesive layer at the profile exhibits a width of 8 millimeters (mm). A thickness of a wall (5) of the profile amounts to 12 percentages of the width of the adhesive layer. The profile has a cross-section with a closed curve-shaped main geometry with a plane surface. The profile includes a sealing lip having a length of 5-10 mm. |
