Disclosed is a genetically modified non-human animal, comprising in its genome: -an unrearranged T cell receptor (TCR) α variable gene locus comprising at least one human Vα segment and at least one human Jα segment, wherein the TCRα variable gene locus is operably linked to a non-human TCRα constant gene sequence, wherein the unrearranged TCRα variable gene locus replaces an endogenous non-human TCRα variable gene locus, and/or -an unrearranged TCR&bgr; variable gene locus comprising at least one human V&bgr; segment, at least one human D&bgr; segment, and at least one human J&bgr; segment, wherein the unrearranged TCR&bgr; variable gene locus is operably linked to a non-human TCR&bgr; constant gene sequence, wherein the unrearranged TCR&bgr; variable gene locus replaces an endogenous non-human TCR&bgr; variable gene locus. |
