PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method, and an apparatus therefor, in each of which a phosphorus removing means and a reverse osmosis membrane (RO membrane) are used, biofouling of the RO membrane is prevented satisfactorily and at a low cost and deterioration of the phosphorus removing means is also prevented.SOLUTION: The water treatment method comprises the steps of: performing phosphorus removal treatment on the water to be treated; and making the water, which is to be treated and on which the phosphorus removal treatment is performed, pass through a reverse osmosis membrane unit. The phosphorus removal treatment is performed by adding a disinfectant to the water to be treated and bringing ferritin into contact with the disinfectant-added water to be treated. It is preferable that the phosphorus removal treatment is performed by making the water to be treated pass through a column in which a ferritin-deposited carrier is packed. It does not matter if pretreatment is performed before the disinfectant is added.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
