A system is disclosed including a measuring device comprising at least one sensor configured to collect data from a user based on the sensor being at least one of in contact with and proximate to a section of skin of the user, a stress feature analyzer configured to determine at least one of cardiovascular activity of the user, skin conductance of the user, movement of the user, and skin temperature of the user based on data collected with the measuring device, and a stress classifier configured to classify and report stress based on at least one of the cardiovascular activity, the skin conductance, and a combination of the cardiovascular activity and the skin conductance, wherein when at least one of skin temperature and movement of the user exceeds a defined threshold, the stress classifier ceases to classify stress. A method and a non-transitory processor readable storage medium are also disclosed.
