A turbo machine according to the present invention comprises two or more impellers disposed on the same axis, and a return guide vane disposed between the impellers, the turbo machine being characterized in that: the shape of the return guide vane is formed such that a blade angle of the return guide vane as measured in the circumferential direction at the front edge section of the return guide vane is greater at the shroud side than at the hub side. Accordingly, the generation of a turbulent flow at a negative pressure surface side is suppressed, the efficiency of recovering a rotational speed component as a static pressure is improved, and residual pre-rotation to the next impeller can be removed. Thus, overall efficiency as a multi-stage turbo machine can be improved. |
