The present invention significantly reduces the amount of radiation that medical staff is exposed to and ensures a large working area during an operation. The present invention also reduces the size of each component of radiation protection equipment, reducing the weight thereof. Furthermore, the present invention provides radiation protection equipment which can be installed in a short time before an operation, and can also be easily cleared away after the operation. The radiation protection instrument 10 is provided with: a first protective sheet 1 which is disposed around a radiation source apparatus 101 and shields against radiation; a second protective sheet 2 which is formed separately from the first protective sheet 1, is disposed on a side of an operating table 9, and shields against radiation; and a third protective sheet 3 which is formed separately from the first protective sheet 1 and the second protective sheet 2, is disposed around an operative field S so as to expose the operative field S, and shields against radiation.
