PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin cap which enables easy confirmation of information.SOLUTION: A cap includes a top plate part 2 and a cylinder part 3 suspending from a peripheral edge of the top plate part. The cylinder part 3 is partitioned into a main part 8, and a TE ring part 9 connected to the main part 8 by a bridge 7. A plurality of engagement projections 11 for preventing movement of the TE ring part 9 by locking on a locking step part 23 of a mouth part 21 in opening are formed on the TE ring part 9. A knurl part 12 formed of a protruded part 12a is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the main part 8. An outer peripheral surface of the cylinder part 3 includes a blank area 13 without the knurl part 12 from the main part 8 over the tamper-evident ring part 9. The blank area 13 includes a first area 13a as a part of the outer peripheral surface of the main part 8, and a second area 13b as at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the TE ring part 9. The first area 13a and the second area 13b are flush areas formed by mutually connecting. An information display 14 is formed on the blank area 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
